Growing up in an agriculture family and serving for more than 20 years in the industry, Raina has strong personal and professional insights on what it takes to run a successful farming operation. Her experience in food safety and quality systems provides valuable perspective on ways businesses can balance investments in stewardship, innovation, and productivity.

Katheryn, a dynamic leader in Colombian Hass avocado sector, advocates for sustainability through strategic initiatives. With a background in environmental engineering and a master’s in Sustainability, she brings over two decades of experience. Her passion  drives industry evolution fostering growth and innovation for avocados.

Alejandro has over 17 years of experience in the sustainability space and currently serves as the executive director of a sustainability consulting firm based in Colombia. His strategic insights and resourcefulness come from his work as an entrepreneur and various positions on local boards.

Francisco Contardo is a business engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Sales from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Santiago, Chile). He is also Vice President and Director of the Chilean Avocado Importers Association (CAIA) in the United States and a member of the Water Positive Think Tank, an international organization dedicated to promoting sustainable water solutions.

Sebastian has an international perspective on the avocado business from 30+ years of experience in production and marketing avocados in different countries. His strategic insights are fueled by a strong knowledge and understanding of different cultures and sustainability practices.

Ana leverages her 20+ years’ experience as a communicator to develop and effectively promote messaging on complex topics like sustainability and international business. Her leadership roles strengthen her expert counsel on industry communications strategy and marketing.

With a deep-rooted passion for avocados and dedication to business ethics, Ramon has carved a remarkable path in the industry. His commitment led him to pursue a PhD in Business Ethics, fueling his commitment to sustainability. He aspires for the avocado industry to emerge as the leader in sustainability within the fresh produce sector.

Working in the Peruvian fruit market for more than 25 years, Jose Antonio is proud and eager to contribute best practices, such as farm worker programs, that contribute to the country’s continual improvements in sustainability.
